The Valleys Regional Park Discovery Gateway
Parc Bryn Bach is part of the Valleys Regional Park twelve Discover Gateway sites across south Wales.
This unique landscape holds the promise of memorable experiences for everyone: family members of all ages, walkers, fitness enthusiasts and those who want to make new friends or volunteer. You can discover the incredible stories of The Valleys and learn more about our roots, meet people in neighbouring towns and villages, experience or help protect the fabulous wildlife of The Valleys or simply enjoy getting outdoors. The choices are as varied as the changing landscape.
Discovery Gateways are your launchpads into the landscape and heritage that make up The Valleys story. They are places where you can get out and about, have fun, explore the landscape and find out more about nature. We’ve called them Discovery Gateways because each one is a great place to start discovering the local area.
The Valleys Regional Park is helping to improve each of the Discovery Gateway sites. At Parc Bryn Bach you’ll see improved signage around the park, a fabulous play area, a refurbished bunkhouse and, coming soon, a Wellbeing Workhub where you can work surrounded by the beauty and inspiration of nature. Everything is designed to improve your experience, have fun and enjoy the natural settings across south Wales.
