Join the BGCBC Biodiversity team and help them with a new project called ‘Devil’s in the Planting of Wildflowers’ as part of the Grassland Networks project.
With the help of Gwent Wildlife Trust, the group will sow Devils Bit Scabious seeds, a plant which is really important food source for the declining Marsh Fritillary Butterfly, among other pollinators at the park.
Please wear suitable clothing for the weather with sturdy shoes. Work gloves and tools will be provided. Please bring any food and drinks you may want for the day (there is also a café on site at the Visitor Centre selling food and refreshments).
For more information, or to join this session please email Nadine.Morgan@blaenau-gwent.gov.uk
