Volunteer days

Would you like to get involved with some of our Environmental work around the park?

We have a series of Volunteer Days coming up where you can help our local Ecology and Biodiversity team to look after the various habitats around the park.

All volunteer sessions will take place on Mondays from 10.30am – 1.30pm at Parc Bryn Bach:

  • 10th October: Create Beetle/Butterfly bank

  • 17th October: Create wildflower area

  • 24th October: Pond Restoration and associated works in the surrounding areas

  • 31st October: Pond Restoration

  • 7th November: Pond Restoration

  • 14th November: Willow coppicing

  • 21st November: Willow coppicing

  • 28th November: Willow coppicing

 All kit and tools will be provided, but volunteers should bring their own gardening gloves if they can.

Activities will take place in all weather, so please wear appropriate clothing such as waterproof clothing/sturdy boots or footwear/wellies/hats etc.
