New for 2023: Paddlesport Hire!
We are very excited to announce that we will be launching a brand new activity this Easter at the park - Paddlesport hire!
On selected days through the Easter holidays (and every weekend through the summer) visitors will be able to hire a canoe, sit-on-top kayak or SUP board to use on the lake.
Hire sessions will be 45 minutes and the prices are:
£8 per Sit-on-top Kayak (1 person) | £15 per SUP board (1 person) | £20 per Canoe (max 2 adults and 1 young person)
We will provide all equipment, including: wetsuits, helmets and buoyancy aids.
Participants will need to stay within a designated area of the lake which will be marked by red buoys and will need to bring the following items with them:
Swimwear to wear under your wetsuit
Spare clothes if you do not wish to wear a wetsuit
Towel
Shoes you are happy to get wet (footwear must be worn at all times)
Age Suitability for Children:
11 – 17 year olds can paddle their own craft with a responsible adult aged 18+ present
5 – 10 year olds can go in a canoe with a responsible adult aged 18+
