Easter Holidays Fun at Parc Bryn Bach

If you’re looking for some family fun this Easter there’s lots to do at Parc Bryn Bach!

The park and children’s play area are open daily throughout the Easter holidays (including Easter Weekend) from 8.30am – 8.30pm and are free to access.  We have also have an on-site café serving a range of snacks and refreshments – for more information on opening times and to view our menu visit www.parcbrynbach.co.uk/cafe

If you’d like to explore the park, we have 340 acres of grass and woodland to enjoy and a variety of walking trails which provide spectacular views of the different landscapes and wildlife-rich habitats that make up the park.

Visitors can add a little adventure to their exploring by hiring one of our new pedal powered Go Karts – we have a range of single, double and four-seater options available for adults and children. Go Kart hire starts from £8 for 45 minutes and bookings can be made online before you visit at www.parcbrynbach.co.uk/go-karts

While enjoying a walk (or cycle) around the lakeside path, why not listen to the fabulous FREE story trail that’s been created by Head4Arts!  The Library of Life is written and narrated by Tamar Eluned Williams, and can be accessed for FREE by scanning the QR codes on the 8 posters dotted around the lake.  Each poster unlocks the next chapter of the story, and there’s an option to listen in English or Welsh.  There are also a few fun challenges to do along the way to keep little ones busy, such as taking photographs and spotting local wildlife.  The story trail is free to join and will be available at the park until Sunday 24th April 2022.

In addition to the story trail, Head4Arts will also be offering a special day of activities on Friday 22nd April from 10am – 4pm, where families will be able to visit the mobile library of life van and enjoy free craft activities.  For more information, please visit www.head4arts.org.uk

If you’d like to enjoy a fun family game during your visit why not try out a round of Foot Golf? It combines all the fun of football and golf, with participants being challenged to kick a football around the course and into the specially designed footgolf holes.  Tickets are available from the reception desk in our visitor centre and are priced at £5 for adults and £3 concessions – please remember to bring your own football!

There’s also a fun 12 hole Mini Golf course located just outside our visitor centre, which will challenge your putting skills. Tickets and equipment are available from the reception desk at the visitor centre, and prices are £4.50 per person or £15 for a family or group of four.

If you would like to work on your golf swing, or enjoy a few rounds of golf, our 9 hole golf course and driving range are also open throughout the Easter holidays, tokens and tickets can be purchased from our reception desk at the visitor centre – for more info visit https://www.parcbrynbach.co.uk/golf
