Today we begin the first phase of our grounds re-opening at Parc Bryn Bach and have opened our main gates and car parks to welcome local visitors back.

Members of the local Angling Club are also able to return to the park from today to resume their fishing activities.

Our staff are back on site and doing their best to bring the park grounds back to their former glory following the unprecedented period of closure during the lockdown, and we ask that you please be patient with us and respect our grounds team during these initial phases while they work hard to restore the park.

Please note that our children’s play area remains closed for the time being – as do all other children’s play areas in Blaenau Gwent.

For the moment, other facilities and activities such as our visitor centre, toilets, café, campsite, golf course, golf driving range and open water swimming all remain closed.

We are working to re-open our golf course and café (for take away refreshments only) in the coming weeks and will provide further updates on these as soon as we can.

We ask that our visitors please take care to adhere to the Government’s social distancing guidelines and stay 2 metres apart from other people at all times, and that you only meet with one other household while outside.

We would also like to remind our visitors that all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times while inside the park grounds, and ask that you please clean up after your dogs, disposing of their waste in the appropriate bins.

There are currently lots of ducklings and goslings in the park at the moment and we ask that all our visitors please take care around them and their family groups when driving, cycling or walking around the park.
