Following the Welsh Government’s latest announcement on the easing of Coronavirus restrictions we are pleased to announce that we are re-opening many of our services and facilities at the park.
Please remember to ‘Stay Local’ in order to keep our communities safe – this means that for the next couple of weeks you shouldn’t be travelling to visit us unless you live within 5 miles of the park.
We look forward to welcoming back our visitors from further afield when it is safe to do so
Park Gates & Car Parks
The gates and car parks will be open daily from 8.30am-5.30pm from Saturday 13th March 2021.
These times will change on Sunday 28th March to 8.30am-8.30pm.
The play area is open daily from 10am – 5.30pm, with a ‘Quiet Hour’ available daily from 10am – 11am for those young people and families who have children with additional needs.
We know our play area is very popular, but we ask our visitors to please be mindful of social distancing guidelines and not to overcrowd it – if it’s busy please consider coming back at a quieter time. All visitors are required to adhere to social distancing guidelines and be responsible for themselves and their children while in the play area
We would also like to remind visitors that dogs and bikes are not permitted in the play area.
Lake View Café – Takeaway Kiosk
The takeaway kiosk will be open daily from 10.30am – 3.30pm for hot and cold drinks and confectionery. Please note there will be no hot food available during this initial re-opening. The menu will be reviewed on 27th March in readiness for the school holidays.
These are located in the main visitor centre and are open daily from 10.30am – 3.30pm.
We look forward to welcoming back fishing to the lake however for the immediate future this will be for members and existing licence members only. No new licences will be issued at this time. This will be reviewed in the coming weeks.
Unfortunately, due to some damage and vandalism we are unable to open the main golf course at this time. Repair work is under-way and we hope to be able to open very soon.
The Driving Range is open daily and bookings can be made online here
Buckets will be prepared and ready for our driving range customers on arrival, please ensure you have proof of booking with you.
Our Visitor Centre will remain closed at this time, so our phone lines will not be fully manned at the moment.
Please remember to follow all social distancing guidelines while using the driving range – this includes using the hand sanitiser provided, ensuring that there is only 1 person to a bay, no spectating and no handshakes.
Caravan & Camping
Due to construction work being undertaken in this area and use of shared facilities currently not being permitted – we will not be taking bookings for our caravan and camping site at this time. We hope to be able to reopen this in the not too distant future.
We have lots of exciting opportunities still being developed at our site ready for when we can welcome visitors back fully, so please excuse our appearance while this ongoing work is undertaken.
This includes a mini golf expansion and upgrade, development of a mobile working hub, full refurbishment of the shower area and shared facilities, a new adventure activities programme including go karts, open water fun… and many more new things to try coming soon.
Thank you for your patience and spirit during such a turbulent time which will hopefully not be for too much longer and we can welcome back all our local community, visitors and supporters to our full services.
